What is the difference between Regular Garjon and Decorative plywood?
Regular Garjon is our everyday interior plywood, made from Garjon timber — a dependable, economical choice for cabinetry, partitions and general joinery. Decorative Plywood is faced with a premium veneer such as Burma Teak or Rosewood, so the board itself becomes the finished surface.
Which plywood should I choose for a humid or wet area?
For humid rooms, choose Moisture Resistant (MR) Plywood; for kitchens, bathrooms and anywhere that meets water regularly, choose Marine Plywood. Our water-resistant boards are bonded with high-quality adhesive under high pressure, and are also treated to resist termites and borers.
Is Woodtech plywood suitable for furniture and interiors?
Yes. Woodtech ply is used for furniture, cabinetry, wall panelling, doors and general interior fit-outs. Its robust properties also make it suitable for heavier structural and exterior applications.
What sizes and thicknesses does Woodtech plywood come in?
Our plywood comes in a standard 8 × 4 ft sheet. Standard thicknesses are 3, 4, 6, 12, 15, 18 and 25 mm, and we make custom thicknesses such as 16 mm, 17 mm, or above 25 mm up to 36 mm to order. Flexible Plywood comes only in 4, 6 and 8 mm.
